Esk brings together a multidisciplinary team of executive, creative, technical, and production expertise and is led by the company founders. Our leadership team drives these capabilities and provides clear direction across every stage of delivery.
Samuel Weatherstone
CEO
Samuel is an entertainment executive and producer with 13 years’ experience in the industry. He started his career at the music and licensing agency IMG Artists, and subsequently was the Senior Producer at the Royal Albert Hall (RAH) in London where he was responsible for the programmed content of the institution. He left the RAH to study for an MBA and to co-found esk.
Douglas Martin
CTO/Technical Producer
Douglas has had an extensive career as a Live Sound Designer, Technical Producer and Technical Director. Having started his live sound and events career at a very young age in the family business he went on to study in Digital Video and Animation at The University of Hertfordshire. In a professional career spanning over 25 years he has been Head of Sound for a leading Edinburgh Fringe Festival company, Hire Manager for a leading UK supplier, has worked on Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, London NYE Fireworks, the EIIR Platinum Jubilee and the CIIIR Coronation as well as providing Live Sound Design for events and orchestras across the UK, Europe and the world.
Alan Cox
Director and Co-Founder
Alan is a theatre technologist developing his craft from small scale arts pieces to The West End, Broadway, international expositions, film and TV. Theatre design and development credits include Ghost, Prince of Egypt, Before The Dawn (Kate Bush), Winter’s Tale and Julius Caesar (RSC).
